The short version: we collect what you type into the enquiry form, we use it to arrange your free remote design appointment, we pass it to the local OVO installation partner for your area so they can prepare your design, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
Who we are
OVO Solar & Battery is the home solar and battery installation service delivered with OVO's vetted regional installation partners. Your enquiry is handled by our appointment team and the partner that covers your postcode.
What we collect, and why
When you send the enquiry form we collect your name, contact details, address, and your answers about the property, your electricity spend, what you are interested in and when suits you for a call, plus anything you add in the notes box. We use them for one purpose: booking and preparing your free remote design appointment. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies; our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
Who sees your details
Your details go to our appointment team, the systems we use to manage bookings, and the regional OVO installation partner matched to your postcode, so they can prepare your design and quote. We never sell your data.
How long we keep them
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are actively helping you, then for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you, or to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, by replying to any message from us or texting STOP to any text we send. Under UK GDPR you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
